TRANSPORTATION HELP NEEDED:  There are onions, corn, squash, etc., to be gleaned this fall. However, we are experiencing a shortage of drivers.

Volunteers are needed to transport produce from the gleaning sites to St. Vincent de Paul and local food banks. Drivers with pickup truck and trailer hitch are needed to haul the Fields of Grace of large trailer.

The need is for both Saturday and mid-week gleanings. Want more info, want to see how the job is done? Attend this Friday’s onion gleaning in Pasco!

If you (or somone you know) can provide support in this area of ministry, contact Fields of Grace at admin@fields-of-grace.com.

Please consider sharing this need with your friends, family, church congregation and service clubs. Help spread the word.

BE A LEADER: We are so very grateful for D8295C14-9F0A-424D-8155-5D9773B9216A

Cheri Baker and her willingness to jump in as a Gleaning Coordinator. She is doing an amazing job of organizing and leading some of the gleanings. This is a big help to our Residential Gleaning Coordinator Rob Koenig. Rob has been able to take vacation…and gleanings are still taking place.

The more volunteers willing to jump in as leaders, the more gleanings we can do, the more families will have access to local fresh produce. If you have a willing heart to help in this area, contact Rob or Cheri to learn more about leading a gleaning event.

T-SHIRTS & HOODIES: If you are interested in a Fields of Grace
T-shirt (short & long sleeved) ($15) or hoodie ($30), send an email indicating the size you’d like to admin@fields-of-grace.com. Or ask about the shirts at the next gleaning.
