How it works
So where do we find all this produce?
Basically, all the fresh produce that we harvest comes from 4 sources:

Farmer's Markets
We collect a great variety of produce donated by market vendors.Collection days: Thursday (Kennewick); Friday (Richland); Saturday (Kennewick) Produce is taken directly to local food banks.

Direct Donations
Farmers and packing houses sometimes donate produce—we just have to pick it up. (Easiest gleaning ever!)

Residential Sites
Local residents donate fresh produce from their vegetable gardens or fruit trees.
Harvest days: Typically Tuesday and Thursday mornings Produce is taken directly to local food banks or Second Harvest.

Commercial Farms
Typically held on Saturday mornings at area farms. (Most are located within a 30-minute drive from the Tri-Cities). Harvested produce is taken to our local Second Harvest who stores and distributes it to area food banks.
